Haunted by Bad Prompts?
How to Summon Better AI Results

Effective prompting is what turns AI potential into practical, actionable intelligence. The way you ask your questions shapes the quality, relevance, and usability of the answer. Here are some tips on how to create fruitful prompts in AI Notebook:

1. Start broad for the big picture.
When you need an overview, ask across your entire project. Try: “Summarize all the bids in this project” or “List all meetings that mentioned security cameras.” The AI will pull insights from everything, not just what’s on your screen.

2. Zoom in for record-level detail.
Once you’ve found the record you care about, select it and ask something specific like: “Summarize the products and services requested for this bid.” The AI will stay laser-focused on that record only.

3. Drill down into documents.
Need to unpack one document? Select it and ask: “Summarize this document.” You’ll even get clickable citations that take you right to the supporting context.

4. Turn prompts into productivity.
Prompting isn’t just for Q&A, it’s also for workflow. Use it to rank bids by best fit, summarize key meeting discussions, or export structured data into a CSV. Smart prompts turn the AI into your personal assistant.
