How to Track Terminated Contracts and DOGE Activity
With Fedmine's Contract Search, there are 2 searches you can run to monitor which contracts are being cancelled and how often. Here's how:
1. Search by keywords “stop work”, “stop order,” and “stop job.” This will help you find task orders and smaller agreements indicated for termination.
2. Search for Modification Type “Terminate for Convenience (complete or partial)” to identify contracts intentionally cancelled.
In either search, you can customize or narrow your search down to particular agencies, PSCs, NAICS, and other criteria. Be sure to “Roll up by Contract number” under “Report Display Options” to view each of the contracts cancelled in the results. Likewise, filter by Fiscal Year or Signed Dates to narrow your search to the current period or to view cancellations in prior years.
Don't forget to save these searches and turn on alerts to receive emails on new terminations over time!
To help our new and returning customers quickly get up to speed on the GovSpend platform, we offer a series of training webinars every month that start with the basics, layer on technique, and finish with actionable intelligence.
