MCP is changing how AI works. Instead of relying only on information from the web, AI can now securely connect to your business systems and proprietary data sources through a standardized protocol.
The GovSpend advantage. While MCP provides the connection, the value is in the data. This is where GovSpend puts you ahead. We’re constantly expanding our data to deliver comprehensive procurement intelligence.
Join us for a webinar TODAY at 12 PM ET on GovSpend’s MCP Server - connecting AI tools directly to the government record for smarter, context-aware research - plus CRM and Slack integrations, API and SSO capabilities, and other platform enhancements.
Interested in GovSpend's MCP Server? MCP Server access is not included with standard GovSpend subscriptions. If you'd like to explore whether it's a fit for your team, please contact your Relationship Manager to discuss availability, requirements, and implementation options.
MCP Servers: The Next Wave of AI Innovation
The first wave of AI helped teams write faster, summarize information, and automate repetitive tasks. The next wave is about something bigger: connecting AI to the systems that power your business.
They serve as a common language that allows AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or CoPilot to interact with the systems and data your organization already uses to operate. The result? A single command center to answer questions, surface trends in your business, and make smarter decisions.
To help our customers take advantage of this next wave, we built the GovSpend MCP Server, giving you access to our contract, spending, contact, and opportunity intelligence inside your AI tools - no UI required.
So what does that look like in practice? Here are just a few examples of how our current customers are using their GovSpend MCP server:
💰 Surface New Opportunities & Buying Signals
What contracts for my products are expiring in the next 12 months?
Which opportunities should I prioritize this quarter?
🏅 Build Your Takeout Strategy
Which agencies buy products like ours?
Who are the incumbent vendors?
Where is competitor market share declining?
⭐ Prioritize Accounts & Contacts
What are the highest-potential accounts in my territory?
Who are the decision-makers tied to this opportunity?
The value wasn’t simply access to data—it was the ability to integrate GovSpend intelligence directly into the workflows where capture and business development decisions are actually made."

The Transition from FPDS to SAM.gov The federal government officially decommissioned FPDS.gov on February 24, but this change has zero impact on the data or service you receive from us. While contract award searches have moved to SAM.gov, the underlying data remains the same trusted source. No action is required on your end.
